James Laughlin, B.S.
James Laughlin earned his B.S. in Animal Science from Colorado State University, and has over ten years of experience in laboratory management. He has worked in a broad range of laboratory settings from a biological safety level three facility working with Burkholderia mallei to investigating the genetics behind nicotine addiction. James came to ChemaTox with a strong background in a variety molecular biology techniques including real time PCR and tissue culture. Since joining the company, James has also added a variety of chromatography techniques to his repertoire, including liquid chromatography mass spectrometry (LC/MS) and gas chromatography-flame ionization detection (GC-FID). Here at ChemaTox in addition to insuring that the laboratory operates smoothly on a day to day basis, James assists in new assay development and optimizing current techniques.
